THE JUDICIAL COMMISSION
The JC has investigated every aspect so thoroughly and openly that there should have been no doubts left in anyone’s mind and to dispel all fears. That was the exact purpose for its formation. They had all state institutions at their disposal who should have investigated the matter as neutral agencies. ISI, MI, FIA, NADRA should have been used for this. The ECP, provincial ECO’s and RO’s thoroughly investigated for its wrong doings.
The commission report in detail says that 35 percent of the form 15’s were not found in the ballot bags. It says the ECP did not know what was happening. It admits extra ballot papers were printed on adhoc basis and no count maintained but cannot justify why. It admits that ballot bags were filled with trash. It admits that irregularities were committed in the election on count of bogus votes, RO’s, sealing of the bags. Seals were found broken. Form 14 were not found in all bags. Ballot bags had been tampered with. Multiple votes with same thumb impressions and it goes on and on. Has the Judicial Commission investigated any of this ???? Has it apportioned any blame ???? has it punished anyone in the care taker set up, the central or provincial ECP’s. Has it held anyone responsible ??? these are most serious offenses where the responsible should have been identified, held accountable and punished according to the law, constitution and the people’s representative act which very specifically states this in the constitution. Why JC did not do any of this and yet handed a clean chit to these institutions despite admitting that these happenings take place. The JC had the full authority and a moral obligation to do all this. Why did it not do all this ???? what were the motives ???? why it resorted to the doctrine of necessity once again ????
So there are a lot of questions yet to be answered. It is not all about PML N and PTI. It is about Pakistan and our corrupt systems where state functionaries involved in gross misconduct, state institutions involved in malpractices, criminals and culprits invariably go unpunished. That is the real question !!!!!
DOES THE DOCTRINE OF NECESSITY APPLIED BY THE H’ABLE COMMISSION COMPRISING OF H’ABLE JUDGES, INDICATE A GOOD OMEN FOR THE BETTERMENT OF PAKISTAN?
